Going Digital Nigeria – Free Webinar Series

In view of the challenges posed by the Covid-19 to businesses globally, and the recommendation that going digital with business processes, particularly supply chain, sales and finances generally is one way to alleviate the adverse effects of such pandemic, we, at Vi-M Professional Solutions, are launching a webinar series on the theme “Going Digital Nigeria!”.

Going Digital Nigeria is a 7-part free webinar series on how to automate/ digitize practically all business processes in different industry sectors, to assist Nigerian businesses achieve effectiveness and growth during and post Covid-19.

The debut session will hold on Wednesday, 3 June 2020, at 12.00 noon (WAT) on the theme, “Going Digital Successfully”. Other weekly sessions in the series will also hold every Wednesday at the same time.

The Panelists at the 3rd June 2020 session will include 3 men from organizations that have made global/ far reaching impacts using technology tools. They include:

1.       Iyinoluwa Aboyeji (Co-Founder at Future Africa, Andela and Flutterwave), is an entrepreneur who has built and led all his businesses to the world stage.  

Future Africa is a venture capital outfit with interests in notable very fast growing Information and Communications Technology (ICT) companies. Flutterwave builds payments technology and infrastructure to connect Africa to the global economy. It is one of the fastest growing payments technology businesses and now earns millions of dollars in revenues yearly. Andela is Africa’s largest engineering organization with over 1,000 software engineers which has received investments from Mark Zuckerberg and Google Ventures, amongst others.

Iyinoluwa will be sharing his wealth of experience specifically on what businesses must do, amid and post the pandemic to keep winning in the digital market place.

2.      Orienru Igho Otejiri (Assistant Director, Personal Income Tax at the Lagos State Internal Revenue Service ‘LIRS’), is a seasoned Tax Administrator, trained Human Resources Management Consultant and experienced Resource Person.  

In this webinar, he would be highlighting various digital platforms that the LIRS has put in place to make tax compliance easier.  He would also share some perspective as to the various palliatives (inclusive of the Finance Act 2019) that the LIRS has provided to support businesses amidst the pandemic.

3.      Marcus Rose is the Partner Account Manager – EMEA at Xero. Xero is a UK based Cloud Accounting Software company focusing on small and medium-sized businesses. The software helps over 2 million plus active users all over the world run their finance operations from the cloud.

Marcus will be speaking on how businesses can use Xero to successfully run their operations from the cloud.
