On 6 December, 2022, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), via its letter to all deposit money banks (DBMS) and other financial institutions, payment service banks (PSBs), primary mortgage banks (PMBs) and Microfinance banks (MFBs); set new cash withdrawal limits for all Nigerian individuals and corporate bodies.
Although a subject of huge controversies since the release of the Notice, these cash withdrawal limits are currently scheduled by the CBN to become effective from 9 January 2023.
This webinar seeks to highlight the potential tax implications of this new policy for Nigerian traders and how they can be effectively managed.
