Professional Background

Vivian Chigozie-Nmonwu is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Vi-M Professional Solutions Limited, a professional services and technology firm focused on digital tax infrastructure, enterprise systems advisory, regulatory compliance, and financial governance solutions.

Vivian brings over 23 years  of experience across tax, financial advisory, governance, and enterprise systems, with a career spanning Big-4 advisory, cross-border engagements, and founder-led enterprise development.

Her work has involved leading and delivering complex engagements across multiple industries, including banking, financial services, fintech, oil and gas services, consumer business, telecommunications, logistics, and the public sector. She has supported multinational groups, large corporate organisations, and regulated entities, working both locally and in collaboration with international teams across the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States, the Middle East and Africa.

Her early career in Big-4 advisory was marked by leadership roles in IFRS implementation, tax accounting, transaction support, mergers and acquisitions due diligence, and cross-border tax advisory. She played a lead role within the tax function in Nigeria on IFRS-related tax accounting during the transition to IFRS, working closely with IFRS faculty and specialist teams in both Nigeria and the United Kingdom.

Since 2015, she has led the growth of Vi-M Professional Solutions, building a practice that integrates tax, regulatory advisory, governance, and enterprise systems implementation. Her work over this period spans advisory, compliance, systems deployment, regulatory structuring, and institutional support, alongside the development of digital tools and platforms supporting tax and business operations.

She led the coordination and delivery of a national weekly tax publication series in partnership with the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), published in a leading national newspaper to support taxpayer education.

She also pioneered thought leadership initiatives within Big-4 advisory, including the development of structured publication series on IFRS and tax topics.

Her engagement extends to public education through radio programmes, structured training sessions, and sector-based initiatives.

During the COVID-19 period, she convened a multi-sector digital transformation series, bringing together experts across industries and geographies to support businesses with practical tools and strategies for operational resilience.

She has also led business and tax advisory clinics in partnership with the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos, providing practical guidance and support to MSMEs and business owners across multiple parishes.
